Thrive is a small national charity based in Berkshire, founded in 1978, that uses gardening to change the lives of disabled people.
They champion the benefits of gardening, carry out research and offer training & practical solutions so that anyone with disability can take part in and benefit from gardening.
We are pleased to have been appointed to provide executive leadership coaching. We have worked with the management team to develop capacity and collaboration using a strengths-based (strengthscope) approach.

The international award-winning octet VOCES8 has established itself as the foremost young British a cappella group performing a repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to unique jazz and pop arrangements.
Founded in 2003 by ex-choristers of Westminster Abbey, VOCHES8 first achieved success in 2005, winning first prize at the International Choral Grand Prix in Gorizia, Italy.
Summerhill's work with these great musicians has been in executive coaching for Directors and in running team events to develop individuals and build the team. We worked with VOCES8 delivering Motivation through music events for a range of clients. These exciting one-day workshops focused on enabling managers to develop confidence doing things they hadn't done and on using the metaphors of music to enable them to understand their roles and organisations more.

This leading social enterprise provide essential transport for individuals and community groups in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. They are one of the largest Community Transport schemes in London.
They have a large fleet of minibuses for local group transport and run a community car scheme for local people who find public transport difficult to use. Their popular Shopper services provide regular trips to shops in Kensington & Chelsea. They also generate revenue through Green CT cars a licensed minicab operation.
Chas Pell, Director of Summerhill, is Trustee and Treasurer of the charity and a non-executive director of the trading company. Summerhill also provide executive coaching and team building workshops to the management team.

The Ella Foundation has been created to inspire more leaders in the not for profit sector to be effective and successful.
This is done by using the tried and tested processes and resources that have successfully enabled over 2000 businesses to achieve amazing results over the last 16 years led by Brian Chernett, the Founder of The Academy for Chief Executives Limited.
Jilly Steventon, Director of Summerhill has become a Trustee of this charity and in addition to supporting the CEO to develop the ELLA model in the charity sector, she delivers mentoring and training events.
